I am delighted to be a Missouri Star Quilt Company affiliate now. I have often purchased items from them in the past and have always been happy with the products. They have thousands of items to choose from. I received a box full of goodies that I did a quick unboxing video for. Wait until you see what I chose!

What I Got

Check out all of the fun things I got in my box.

First are the notions I needed.

I am always using up (or losing) my marking pencils so I stocked up on them. In addition, I needed a small ruler for some of my smaller work and this one was the perfect size. Last, was a thread cutter to help save time when clipping all of the chain piecing I do.

Second was the fabrics. I’m a batik girl (although I love other fabrics too). These two charm square packs from Island Batik caught my eye and I needed to get some more of Island Batik’s Coconut. It is one of my go-to background fabrics that I was running low on.

Lastly was some more fabric and batting.

This 2 1/2″ strip set from Maywood Studios called Shadow Play intrigued me. I love the various shades in the color families and there is a project I have in mind with that set. The Hobbs Tuscany wool blend batting was a must-have for me. It’s 60″ x 60″ and since I make a lot of wall hanging it will be used right away. Hobbs is definitely my go-to for batting.
