How to Make an Easy Quilt Block with Squares
Are you enjoying my new YouTube series called Fast & Easy Quilt Blocks? You can learn a new one in about 5 minutes or less. All of the blocks I have presented so far are great for scrap-busting or for highlighting just a few of your favorite fabrics. In this episode I teach you how to make an easy quilt block using only squares. I call it Floor Tiles.
You will find that these tutorials are a bit different from my other videos as these only have music and instructions on the screen. I have gotten really good feedback on this format so I thought I would try it for some of my tutorials.
Tips
General quilting supplies are needed to make this block. A 1/4″ seam allowance is used.

Possible Layouts and Color Ideas
It is always fun trying out different color combinations with my Electric Quilt 8 software. I really like how this block looks on the diagonal and I think I might have to give that a try. However, I like the others too.
