Twilight Fabric Blog Hop
It’s time for my second signature fabric line with Island Batik! I have the honor of being a designer with them and they designed a gorgeous new fabric line for me. Introducing “Twilight”, a beautiful line filled with rich hues of dark blues and golds. As soon as I saw this line I knew it was for me. I designed four quilts using the fabrics which are shipping to stores now. To show off the fabrics in various ways I also invited 6 designers to make projects with the fabrics. Grab a cup of coffee, mark your calendars, and get ready for the Twilight fabric blog hop.
Disclosure: The fabrics in this post were provided to me.
To kick it off I want to introduce the fabric to you.
Just look at these rich colors!
My Quilts
As I mentioned before, I designed four quilts for this line and they are all available in both a digital and a paper version in my Etsy shop.
Pearls of Wisdom
With its unique modern design, Pearls of Wisdom is a great pattern for the advanced level quilter. A lot of attention to detail and fabric placement is required to make this quilt. Use various fabrics to really show off the interesting interlacing look. Pick up a copy here.
Harvest Stars
Harvest Stars is a traditional wall hanging that would look lovely in any room. With it’s interesting color combination, a secondary pattern emerges that makes the design stand out. It is ideal for an intermediate or above skill level. Pick up your copy here.
Stained Glass
Perfect for a favorite 10” precut pack, this is a scrappy modern design that resembles stained glass panels. It is ideal for an intermediate or above level quilter. Pick up a copy here.
Sunflower Garden
With only 2 alternating blocks, Sunflower Garden is a striking and traditional quilt. Ideal for an intermediate and above skill level, this pattern comes together easily as long as the instructions are followed closely. Pick up a copy here.

October 15, 2024 at 10:50 PMThe book shelves you use for your fabrics are the same ones I’ve had for years. Aren’t they the best?!!?? I love that they fold for moving and are stackable. Your new fabrics are gorgeous!! While purple is my favorite color,, blues with yellows o golds is my next favorite combination. I hope you did well at our quilt show this past weekend, and can hopefully return next year!!
