About Fast & Easy Quilt Blocks Video Series
Do you like learning new quilt blocks that are easy to make and great for scrap busting? You can with my YouTube Series – Fast & Easy Quilt Blocks. Every few weeks I present a new quilt block that is great for scrap busting and is easy to put together. Circus is block number 12!
These video tutorials are a little bit different than many of my others. The main difference is that there is no speaking in them, only music. I give all of the measurements on screen and the tempo is faster. I always do an accompanying blog post with them so viewers can refer back to the measurements and layout ideas.

Possible Quilt Layouts and Color Ideas
It is always fun trying out different color combinations and block placements with my Electric Quilt 8 software. These are all made with the same number of blocks. Look at all of the different results.
First I went with colors similar to the version I made in the video. The second one is all about purples. Third I went with a scrappy layout. Lastly I set the blocks on point for a great look. I love how completely different the on-point one looks compared to the others.
