Off Kilter Quilt Pattern
When I first saw the Island Batik fabric line Celtic Fields I knew that I wanted to design a quilt using it. Filled with gorgeous greens, golds, rusts and browns, it was an inspiration. That is how my Off Kilter quilt pattern was born. Suitable for a very confident beginner, it comes together with some fabrics and a stack of 10″ precuts. The quilt measures about 68″ square when finished and is available in my Etsy shop in both a paper and digital version.

I took the photos of my quilt on two different sunny fall outings. The leaves were changing and it was just the feel that I wanted for my quilt.
Not only does the Off Kilter quilt pattern work with a pack of precuts and other fabric, but it would be a great scrap quilt as well. The placement of the arrows and other shapes gives the design plenty of movement.
The 8-page pattern has color diagrams as well as a coloring page. I always like adding a coloring page in my patterns because people can play with so many different ideas that they may have.
I just love how the quilt stood out against the beautiful leaves of the maple tree.
Pattern Tester Versions
I am so thankful for my testers. They always to a beautiful job and it is so much fun to see how the quilts look in various colors. On the left is the various purples is Kathy’s version and on the right, in bright sunshiny colors, is Margaret’s version.
