Here are 2 holiday quilted placemat patterns to help you get ready. One has a winter/Christmas vibe and the other has an autumn/Halloween feeling. I used Hobbs fusible batting for both of my placemats. It machine quilts beautifully and it is perfect for a smaller project like these. No pin basting required! That is always a bonus in my opinion.

Up first is the autumn/Halloween pattern. I’m pretty much in love with this fun kitty cat design. It is an easy pattern to make. However, there are a lot of pieces that make it up. I highly recommend downloading the pattern even if you are watching the video tutorial. In addition, follow the instructions in order. This will ensure that your placemat comes together correctly.

Not to be outdone, this festive pine trees design makes a lovely as a set of placemats for your holiday table. I can’t decide if I like my blue version or my Christmas one better! Like the Halloween Cats design, this can easily be a table topper or mini wall quilt if you prefer.

About this Quilt Along

This is a free quilt along that is easy to do. There are 2 different placemat patterns to choose from. Both patterns can be downloaded in this article.
